New Story

yihaa finally we bought our very first so called home!!! It’s not a landed property, we called it HDB in here… it’s a government subsidy apartment. Well it’s a long long way to purchase the HDB in here… Here we go for the hdb purchase journey:

we were went for viewing 6 hdb and sadly say none of them fit in our budget.. We’re not intending to bargain and wasting our time… 
We decided to call my ex-boss friend (he’s an agent housing) and he told us that it’s hardly to find the hdb that fit in our budget but he can try…

Early morning, i scanned though the newspaper and we have 4 shortlisted hdb within our budget.. only 2 available for viewing at the same day… I contacted the housing agent to go with me… We don’t really like the first house, but surprisingly hubby love the second house and we stay quite long in there.. however we will need to bid for the COV. The housing agent told me in this case we will need to bid for 10k+ (not sure if we can get it). I told hubby that if we can’t get it just forget it.. bid 25k should be more than enough hahaha… I told him that i God allow us to have this house then He will help us to secure this place… We will need to calm down to bid the COV as we have limited budget… So the agent drops us at the nearby MRT and we will think through before we decided the amount… I still not really like the kitchen (odd shape) and it’s facing evening sun but hubby says it should be ok. at 8PM the agent called me and asked if we want to bid the COV? Well after discuss with hubby, we agree will bid at 25k which is 5k more than what the owner ask. Consider there’re 2 or 5 more persons quite like the place.
I still say that if this house is for us then He will secure the house for us… not more than 10 minutes, my agent call back and told me that we won the bid! We both look at each other and both shocked! At least we don’t expect we get the house so fast!!!! We will sign the OTP tomorrow!!! How excited!!!

Not really sure about the date, but i think it’s roughly 18-nov we do the exercise OTP to secure the hdb! yeahhhh…. we re-visit the house when exercise OTP… i loved the hosue! just need to do some renovation….

Now… we still find the contractor / ID to do the renovation. It’s so hard to decide >.< well let’s hope we will decide one of them today!
